The sessions use an anchor story as a prompt for pair-shares, student-led learning, and problem solving role-plays. Students are provided with opportunities to practice skills necessary in the responsive classroom. Through story, they explore themes such as immigration, climate change, and anti-bullying. The program is designed to address Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and align with NYS Next Generation Learning Standards.
